Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. He and his family were saved by grace from the flood that killed everyone else.

The world today is like the time of Noah where there is violence and corruption everywhere. Humanity is becoming increasingly hostile and corrupt, abounding in wickedness and perpetuating evil. As Christians, if you do not have balance, you will be moved and easily shaken. We are living in the day where as Christians we must have spiritual balance and weight to stand the flood that is coming to the earth and the only way of escape is to be like Noah who ‘walked with God’ and found grace with Him because the weightier thing for the kingdom now is to be like Christ. What does it mean to ‘walk with God’? It is simply agreeing with God and acting the way God acts

We have all been called to walk with God. When we decide to walk with God, He begins to direct our steps by His Spirit and correct us in measures because whomsoever the Lord loves, He corrects (Proverbs 3:12). We can walk with God to the point of perfection. Yes, perfection! Perfection is simply the ability to walk with God to the point where all residual sin substance in your body and soul are removed. Walking with God we must know is a process and these processes are outlined in these 3 principles;

  • Principle of Prayer: one of the greatest blessings enjoyed by Christians in life is the privilege of prayer, by which we can approach God. A prayerless Christian is a powerless Christian because prayer brings power and where there is no prayer, there is no power. This is the time where we must learn to die in the place of prayer so we can receive power to overcome the flesh, the world and Satan himself. Christians ought to pray always without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:16)
  • Principle of the Word: Far too many people have no time to spend reading the Word of God yet God has commanded us to do this over and over again (Joshua 1:8). The Word of God will help you mature in the things of God and give you wisdom and direction also causing your mind to be transformed from worldly pattern of thinking.
  • Principle of Character Development: God always uses His Word, people and circumstances to mold us and make us learn Obedience (Hebrews 5:8). Let the things you go through train your hands in battle and make you a great person.

The goodnews is God is still looking for people like Noah. He wants to find people who love Him and walk with Him in obedience. He is looking for people who try to please Him, people He can trust to do the job He has for them. So, would you not rather choose to walk with God and find grace with Him?
